KILASTOTABUAN.COM, BOLSEL-Usai menetapkan calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati terpilih, Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (Bolsel) menggelar konferensi pers, Kamis (21/01/2021).
Dalam konferensi pers, Ketua KPU Stenli Eskolano Kakunsi di dampingi Komisioner KPU, Fijey Bumulo, Topan Bolilio, Hirsan Mohamad, dan Riston A J Tulangow berterima kasih kepada keluarga besar KPU Bolsel. Karena sudah bekerja keras sejak awal demi terselenggaranya Pilkada di Bolsel.
“Terima kasih sekretaris beserta teman-teman sekretariat, PPK dan PPS relawan demokrasi relasi dan KPPS serta Bawaslu dan pihak keamanan yang sudah bekerja maksimal. Semua proses tahapan dengan baik dan berjalan aman,” Ucapnya

Eskolano menjelaskan, dalam penetapan pasangan calon bupati dan wakil bupati Bolsel terpilih pada pemilihan 2020 kemarin, pasangan nomor urut 1 Hi Iskandar Kamaru S Pt dan Dedy Abdul Hamid, memperoleh suara sebanyak 33.120 suara sah.
“Partisipasi Pilkada Bolsel tertinggi kedua di Sulawesi Utara dan secara nasional. Pemilihan gubernur mencapai angka 94,54 persen untuk pemilihan bupati 94,41 persen ini cukup tinggi dibandingkan dengan tahun-tahun kemarin. Karena terakhir di Pileg 2019 lalu hanya mencapai 93, ada angka kenaikan menunjukan antusias masyarakat untuk memilih kepala daerah itu cukup tinggi di tahun ini,” Jelasnya
Selain itu, kata dia, ada perbaikan kualitas surat suara. Di mana yang sah turun drastis hanya ada di angka 1,4 persen. Itu menunjukan masyarakat kita sudah dewasa dan sudah memahami atau pentingnya mereka menggunakan hak pilihannya. “Partisipasi pemilih di 7 kecamatan rata-rata di angka 90 persen lebih, tertinggi di Kecamatan Tomini, yakni mencapai 96 persen lebih,” tutupnya.
