KILATOTABUAN.COM, BOLTIM-Medy Lensun mengapresiasi dukungan Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bolaang Mongondow Timur (Boltim) di bawah kepemimpinan Sam Sachrul Mamonto dan Oskar Manoppo kepada PMI Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Boltim.

Kata Medy, dengan adanya dukungan dari Pemkab Boltim, PMI bertekad memajukan PMI guna tugas kemanusiaan di daerah tersebut. Aplagi PMI adalah organisasi resmi dari Pemerintah pusat yang melebar di seluruh Indonesia untuk tugas kemanusiaan. Bahkan kata dia, PMI adalah organisasi kemanusiaan yang diakui tidak hanya secara Nasional tapi secara internasional.
“Oleh karena itu kami pengurus PMI Boltim bertekad untuk memajukan PMI Boltim, mengingat tanggung jawab kemanusiaan adalah tanggung jawab mulia,” kata Medy sapaan akrab Wakil Ketua DPRD Boltim itu.

Menurut Medy yang juga mantan wakil Bupati Boltim ini, saat ini Kabupaten Boltim juga sudah memiliki Rumah Sakit, sehingga Boltim sudah harus ada Bank darah.
“Boltim saat ini sudah ada RS. Jadi untuk kedepan sudah perlu adanya Bank darah atau bahkan Unit transfusi darah. Karena PMI ini hadir di seluruh Indonesia guna untuk tugas Kemanusiaan,” ungkapnya.
Sebelumnya, Bupati Boltim Sam Sachrul Mamonto mengatakan, Pemkab Boltim akan mendukung penuh kegiatan-kegiatan PMI untuk kemanusiaan.
“Kabupaten Boltim akan selalu mensupport full kegiatan PMI, apalagi untuk kemanusiaan. Diharapkan agar PMI cabang sering mengedukasi soal doror darah. Mari kita beri penjelasan ke masyarakat terkait donor darah, darah sangat penting karna bisa menyambung hidup manusia,” kata Alul sapaan akrab Sachrul.
