KILASTOTABUAN.COM, BOLTIM – Fiko Onga resmi menahkodai Asosiasi Kabupaten (Askab) Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) Bolaang Mongondow Timur (Boltim), periode 2021-2025.
Fiko terpilih melalui Kongres Askab PSSI Boltim yang digelar di Cafe CEO Desa Paret, Kecamatan Kotabunan, Senin (7/4/2021). Dalam agenda yang dibuka Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Boltim Sonny Waroka, juga terpilih lima orang Executive Commite (Exco), yakni Rusmin Mamonto, Suharyanto Yahya, Radinal Bahansubuh, Hamkah Pontoh dan Risno Mamonto serta tamu dan undangan.
Fiko dalam sambutan berkomitmen untuk membangkitkan lagi gairah sepak bola di daerah yang kini dipimpin Sam Sachrul Mamonto dan Oskar Manoppo sebagai bupati dan wakil bupati.
“Terima kasih kepada para voters yang telah memilih saya sebagai Ketua Askab PSSI Boltim. Ini adalah amanah sekaligus tanggungjawab besar yang harus dilaksanakan dengan baik,” ucap Fiko yang juga Koordinator Staf Khusus Bupati Boltim.

Fiko mengungkapkan, dirinya telah menyiapkan berbagai program yang akan dilaksanakan Askab PSSI Boltim, serta memastikan keikutsertaan Boltim FC dalam beberapa gelaran event sepak bola tahun ini.
“Liga 3 Indonesia kita pasti ikut. Begitu juga dengan Porprov (Pekan Olahraga Provinsi), target kita Boltim dapat medali. Kemudian akan ada juga Bupati Cup yang nantinya akan menjadi agenda rutin Askab PSSI. Untuk program lainnya, seperti pembinaan usia dini juga menjadi fokus perhatian,” ungkapnya.
Disisi lain, Fiko berharap dukungan dan kerja sama dari semua dalam memajukan sepak bola di Bolaang Mongondow Timur. “Kita memiliki semangat yang sama untuk memajukan sepak bola. Sehingga itu soliditas antar pengurus serta sinergitas dengan klub adalah faktor penting dalam upaya kita bersama-sama memajukan sepak bola di daerah tercinta ini,” sebut Fiko.
Sekda dalam sambutan mengatakan, gelaran Kongres Askab PSSI tersebut menjadi awal kebangkitan lagi sepak bola di Boltim.
“Kami yakin hari ini sepak bola Boltim akan bangkit. Kita butuh orang berkomitmen dalam memajukan sepak bola. Olahraga (sepak bola) ini adalah olahraga rakyat. Mari kita majukan bersama. Soal keberpihakan Pemda terhadap olahraga (sepak bola) sangat jelas,” ujar Sekda. (Awi)
