KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBAGU – Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Kota Kotamobagu menggelar sosialisasi tentang pembinaan dan pemantapan Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) kelas atas tingkat Kota Kotamobagu, di SDN I Motoboi Kecil, Jumat (3/9/2021).
KKG adalah komunitas/kelompok kegiatan profesional bagi guru SD/MI yang masih berada dalam satu gugus/kecamatan. KKG sendiri merupakan kumpulan guru kelas dalam satu kecamatan dan dibedakan menjadi tiga, yaitu KKG guru kelas, KKG guru Pendidikan Agama, dan KKG guru Penjasorkes.
Kepala Bidang Pendidikan Dasar, Dinas Pendidikan Kota Kotamobagu Kusnadi Pobela, mengatakan bahwa keberadaan KKG diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan skill guru, baik saat berada di dalam maupun di luar kelas.
“Pelaksanaan KKG diharapkan mampu membawa perubahan positif di lingkungan sekolah. Adapun indikator keberhasilan yang ingin dicapai yakni, mutu pelayanan pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan, dan guru anggota, bisa saling tukar pengalaman. Sehingga terjadi umpan balik antaranggota, serta dalam pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan kinerja guru semakin meningkat. Hal itu bisa dilihat dari cara mengajar di dalam kelas. Hasil yang diperoleh bisa meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah,” kata Kusnadi Pobela.
Selain itu, sebagai seorang tenaga pendidik, guru harus memiliki kompetensi dan keahlian mumpuni sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku.

Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 Pasal 20 ayat b menyatakan bahwa dalam rangka melaksanakan tugas keprofesionalannya, guru berkewajiban meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kualifikasi akademik dan kompetensi secara berkelanjutan, sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni.
“Undang-undang sudah memberikan gambaran jelas bahwa tenaga pendidik harus memiliki kualitas unggul, sehingga bisa menghasilkan generasi unggul pula. Kualitas pendidik ditentukan oleh kualitas kompetensi yang dimilikinya. Oleh karena itu, pendidik/guru harus memilik wadah tersendiri untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas kerjanya. Wadah yang memungkinkan untuk dibentuk adalah KKG guru sekolah dasar,” katanya.
Ia menambahkan, tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari KKG adalah memberikan ruang atau tempat kepada guru-guru di Kotamobagu, untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta profesionalitas sebagai seorang pendidik.
“Tujuannya, dapat menjadi tempat untuk berbagi dan diskusi tentang proses pembelajaran, memperluas pemahaman dan pengetahuan profesional guru berdasarkan rasa kekeluargaan, memberikan bantuan
profesional pada guru kelas, menyediakan informasi tentang pendidikan, misalnya kebijakan terbaru tentang pembelajaran tatap muka, bimtek melalui SIM Guru Pembelajar, dan sebagainya, serta meningkatkan manajemen pengelolaan kelas melalui pembelajaran yang aktif kreatif dan menyenangkan (PAKEM),” pungkasnya.
Adapun peserta penguatan atau pembinaan KKG tingkat Kotamobagu, yakni guru kelas atas (4,5,6), guru kelas bawah (1,2,3) yang tersebar di empat kecamatan di Kota Kotamobagu, serta kegiatan tersebut mematuhi protokol kesehatan Covid-19 secata ketat. (Anggi)
