KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBAGU – Mewakili Wali Kota Kotamobagu, Wakil Wali Kota, Nayodo Koerniawan, mengikuti kegiatan peluncuran Program Literasi Digital Nasional, yang dilaksanakan Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia secara virtual, Kamis (20/5/2021).
Peluncuran Program Literasi Digital Nasional yang dilakukan Presiden Republik Indonesia, Joko Widodo tersebut, mengambil tema ‘Indonesia Makin Cakap Digital’, dilaksanakan dalam rangka membangun kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang dunia digital.
“Program ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari arahan Bapak Presiden mengenai percepatan transformasi digital nasional, khususnya terkait pengembangan sumber daya manusia digital,” kata Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia, Johnny G. Plate.

Dalam sambutannya, Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia juga mengatakan bahwa, program literasi digital adalah sebuah keharusan di tengah semakin intensifnya penggunaan internet oleh masyarakat, dimana saat ini terdapat setidaknya 196,7 juta warganet di Indonesia.
“Tugas kita bersama adalah memastikan setiap anak bangsa mampu mengoptimalkan kebermanfaatan internet,” katanya.
Kegiatan Peluncuran Program Literasi Digital Nasional yang bertepatan dengan Peringatan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional ke–113 2021 tersebut, juga dihadiri Menteri Pendidikan Kebudayaan Riset dan Tekonologi Republik Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, serta seluruh kepala daerah se-Indonesia dan peserta yang berasal dari seluruh Indonesia.
Diketahui, program literasi digital nasional yang dilaksanakan Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara positif dan produktif. (Gie)
