KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBAGU— Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Keluarga Nasional (Harganas), Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (PPKB) Kotamobagu mengadakan program pelayanan KB gratis bagi masyarakat Kotamobagu.
Menurut Kepala Bidang Keluarga Berencana (KB), Yuniati Badera, program tersebut telah dilaksanakan di klinik mandiri, di masing-masing puskesmas, serta di setiap faskes yang ada di Kotamobagu.
“Khusus untuk pelayanan KB gratis dalam rangka memperingati Harganas telah melampaui jumlah yang ditargetkan,” katanya, Selasa (29/6/2021).

Menurutnya, pelaksanaan program ini mendapat perhatian dari warga Kotamobagu, sebab antusias warga dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya peserta KB gratis ini.
“Sebanyak 940 akseptor yang telah dilayani. Untuk alat kontrasepsi yang kami layani bermacam-macam. Mulai dai IUD, MOW, implant, pil, suntikan serta kondom. Dari sejumlah alat kontrasepsi ini, yang paling banyak diminati implant yakni 282 akseptor. Sedangkan MOW pelayanannya di rumah sakit dan hanya bulan ini saja,” katanya.
Dalam pelaksanaan program KB gratis ini, kata dia, tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan Covid-19, sebab kesehatan masyarakat adalah yang utama.
“Pada setiap kegiatan pelayanan, kami selalu mencuci tangan serta menyediakan masker dan hand sanitizer. Mengingat saat ini masih dalam suasana pandemi Covid-19,” katanya. (Gie)
