KILASTOTABUAN.COM, BOLTIM-Tiga unit pemadam kebakaran (Damkar) yang dibeli Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Boltim November 2019 lalu, mubazir.
Terbukti, kebakaran yang menimpah rumah keluarga Vera Anwar dan Jhon Lombogia di Desa Bangunan, Kecamatan Modayag Barat, Minggu (20/12/2020), tidak satupun Damkar datang untuk menghentikan gempuran sijago merah. Sementara, warga sekitar sudah kewalahan memadamkan api dengan alat seadaanya. “Kami hanya menggunakan ember untuk memadamkan api. Damkar diharapkan tak kunjung datang,” tutur Rifki Oroh, warga Bangunan Wuwuk yang ikut memadamkan api.
Terpisah, Meify Rogahang menceritakan kronologis kebakaran. Kata Meify, api yang tiba – tiba muncul di atap rumah milik Vera Anwar. Iapun langsung berteriak meminta bantuan sampai menelpon instansi yang menangani Damkar di Boltim. “Tapi sayang, hingga api melalap dua rumah keluarga di Bangunan Wuwuk, Damkar tak kunjung datang,” tutur Meify.
Sementara, Kapolsek Modayag, IPTU Suradiman yang berada di lokasi kebakaran menerangkan, mendapat laporan dari warga, pihaknya langsung bergegas membantu warga untuk memadamkan api, dengan mengunakan ember dan air PAM milik warga sekitar. “Untuk penyebab kebakaran, kami belum tau pasti penyebabnya seperti apa, kami masi melakukan penyelidikan,” terang Kapolsek
Diketahui, tiga unit Damkar yang dibeli Pemkab Boltim tersebut, menghabiskan anggaran APBD 2019 sebesar Rp3 miliar. (red/awi)
