KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBAGU – Rumah Tahanan (Rutan) Kelas IIB Kotamobagu saat ini masih menjadi tempat penampungan para Narapidana (Napi) dan tahanan yang ada di wilayah Bolaang Mongondow Raya (BMR).
Kepala Sub Seksi (Kasubsi) Pelayanan Tahanan, Rutan Kelas IIB Kotamobagu, Busen mengatakan, tercatat saat ini sebanyak 328 Narapidana dan tahanan se-BMR berada di Rutan Kelas IIB Kotamobagu.
“Kapasitas Rutan hanya bisa menampung 149 penghuni, kami berharap akan ada perbaikan bangunan dan penambahan ruangan, karena saat ini sudah over untuk menampung Narapidana asal lima daerah, akan tetapi kami bersyukur, karena kejahatan di BMR termasuk kecil,” kata Kasubsi Pelayanan Tahanan Rutan Kelas IIB Kotamobagu, Busen, Sabtu (1/1/2022).
Sementara itu, kata dia jumlah Narapidana dan tahanan yang mendominasi selama 2021 adalah kasus asusila.
“Paling banyak kasus asusila, tahun sebelumnya juga kasus asusila mendominasi. Sejak perkembangan teknologi dan informasi, mungkin mereka lebih mudah mengakses informasi menyimpang,” kata Busen.
Ia menambahkan untuk jumlah penghuni Rutan Kelas IIB perempuan berjumlah empat orang, dengan kasus yang bervariasi.
Untuk tahanan korupsi, Busen mengatakan saat ini hanya ada satu orang. “Awalnya tahanan korupsi ini di Manado, karena keluarga meminta dieksekusi di sini, jadi dipindahkan. Tahanan korupsi tersebut berasal dari Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara (Bolmut),” katanya
Lanjutnya, Rutan Kelas IIB Kotamobagu saat ini belum memberikan izin bagi keluarga untuk berkunjung secara langsung karena pandemi Covid-19.
“Karena belum diizinkan berkunjung, maka kami menyiapkan ruangan bagi tahanan untuk melakukan video call dengan pihak keluarga di ruangan yang berbeda. Agar keluarga bisa melihat tahanan, walaupun hanya lewat video call,” tutup Busen. (Anggi)
