KILASTOTABUAN.COM, JAKARTA – Sebanyak 73 anak-anak di Myanmar meninggal akibat kekerasan aparat keamanan selepas kudeta sejak 1 Februari lalu.
Dilansir The Irrawaddy, Kamis (27/5), jumlah korban tewas anak-anak itu berdasarkan catatan Kementerian Hak Asasi Manusia Pemerintah Persatuan Myanmar. Mereka menghitung jumlah korban itu dalam rentang waktu 15 Februari hingga 15 Mei lalu.
Menurut laporan pemerintahan tandingan, sejumlah anak-anak meninggal karena ditembak ketika tengah bermain di dekat atau bahkan di dalam rumah mereka ketika aparat keamanan menyerbu. Sisanya meninggal saat berunjuk rasa.
Korban tewas termuda adalah Khin Myo Chit yang meninggal saat berusia enam tahun tiga bulan akibat ditembak saat bersimpuh di pangkuan orang tuanya akibat ketakutan ketika rumahnya digeledah tentara.

Sementara itu, Aye Myat Thu yang berusia sebelas tahun meninggal akibat tertembak di kepala ketika tengah bermain di depan rumahnya.
Sedangkan Sai Wai Yan (13) tewas tertembak di belakang kepala ketika berusaha kabur dari kejaran tentara junta militer saat berunjuk rasa.
Wilayah yang mencatatkan jumlah korban tewas anak-anak akibat kekerasan paling tinggi adalah Mandalay. Yaitu sebanyak 26 orang.
Lalu di Yangon tercatat ada sebanyak 13 anak-anak yang meninggal akibat kekerasan aparat Myanmar.
Menurut pemerintahan tandingan, jumlah korban anak-anak akibat kekerasan aparat Myanmar masih bisa bertambah. Sebab mereka belum memasukkan korban anak-anak yang meninggal dalam wilayah konflik di Mindat, Negara Bagian Chin, Kani dan Demoso di Sagain, serta negara bagian Kayah.
Kondisi anak-anak yang berada di wilayah konflik antara milisi etnis dan tentara Myanmar juga sangat rentan.
Pada Senin lalu, seorang anak berusia 13 tahn bernama Aung De di Kota Momauk, negara bagian Kachin, meninggal akibat rumahnya dihantam serangan artileri pasukan Myanmar.
Sejak militer Myanmar melakukan kudeta pada 1 Februari lalu tercatat sudah menewaskan 827 orang. (*)
