KILASTOTABUAN.COM, JAKARTA — Puluhan relawan yang tergabung di Raket Merdeka Provinsi Jawa Timur mendeklarasikan dukungannya kepada Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Erick Thohir sebagai calon Presiden RI 2024.
“Tujuan utama kami satu, yaitu mendukung dan memenangkan Pak Erick Thohir di Pemilihan Presiden 2024,” ujar Ketua DPW Raket Merdeka Jatim Eny Kusnianingsih di sela deklarasi di Surabaya, seperti dikutip dari Antara, Minggu (2/1).
Ia menjelaskan, Raket Merdeka atau “Relawan Kerja Erick Thohir Merdeka untuk Berdaulat” akan didirikan di seluruh kabupaten/kota untuk mengawal hingga pencalonan presiden pada dua tahun mendatang.
Pihaknya berkomitmen menjadi garda terdepan dalam mendukung kinerja Erick Thohir sebagai Menteri BUMN pada Kabinet Indonesia Maju saat ini.
“Kami akan selalu ikut menyosialisasikan program Pak Erick ke seluruh masyarakat di berbagai daerah. Termasuk menepis semua berita negatif yang beredar di media sosial,” ucap dia.
Sementara itu, Ketua Umum DPP Raket Merdeka Noak Banjarnahor mengapresiasi berdirinya relawan di tingkat Jawa Timur dan optimistis keberhasilan kinerja-kinerja Erick Thohir akan tersampaikan dengan baik.
“Reputasi Pak Erick sangatlah positif selama ini. Bahkan, beberapa persoalan di tubuh kementerian yang dipimpinnya sudah berhasil diselesaikan,” kata dia.
Menuju 2024, pihaknya terus akan bersama-sama mendeklarasikan “Raket Merdeka” di seluruh wilayah Tanah Air sekaligus memperkuat dukungan ke Erick Thohir.
“Ke depan, termasuk bersinergi dengan relawan atau kelompok pendukung Erick Thohir lainnya,” tutur Noak.
Dengan deklarasi Raket Merdeka, maka sepekan ini sudah dua kelompok relawan dari akar rumput yang menyatakan dukungannya sekaligus menginginkan Erick Thohir sebagai pengganti Joko Widodo untuk Presiden pada periode 2024-2029.
Sebelumnya, pada Selasa (28/12), relawan mengatasnamakan Gerakan Nasionalis (Ganas) Kota Surabaya juga menggelar deklarasi mendukung Erick Thohir. (*)
