KOTAMOBAGU, KILASTOTABUAN.COM—Ketua DPRD Kota Kotamobagu Meiddy Makalalag (Mekal), mewakili Ketua DPRD se-Sulut memberikan sambutan dalam penerimaan laporan hasil pemeriksaaan (LHP) tentang Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah (LKPD) tahun 2019, Senin (11/5/2020).
Sambutan diminta langsung Kepala BPK RI Perwakilan Perwakilan Sulut Karyadi tersebut, Disaksikan Ketua BPK RI Perwakilan Sulut, Gubernur Sulut, Ketua DPRD Sulut, para kepala daerah dan Ketua DPRD se-Sulut.
Mekal dalam sambutan mengucapkan syukur karena Kotamobagu untuk kali ke-7 berhasil mendapat opini Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP). Ia mengapresiasi BPK RI Perwakilan Sulut yang tetap bisa menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya dengan baik di tengah pandemi Covid-19.
“Apresiasi kami kepada seluruh auditor yang bertugas di semua daerah di Sulut yang bisa menjalankan tugas dan fungsi dengan baik. Bukan hanya memeriksa laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah, tetapi juga memeriksa kinerja atas efektivitas tata kelolah pemerintah daerah dalam perencanaan dan penganggaran daerah,” kata Mekal didampingi Wakil Ketua DPRD Kotamobagu Syarifuddin Mokodongan.
Mekal melanjutkan, keberhasilan pemerintah daerah dalam pengelolaan keuangan, tak lepas juga dari bimbingan dan arahan Gubernur Sulut Olly Dondokambey dan jajarannya dalam proses evaluasi perencanaan APBD setiap tahun berjalan. “Tanpa perencanaan dan evaluasi yang baik, kami yakin dan percaya Kotamobagu dan semua daerah di Sulut tidak akan dapat menjalankan fungsi tata kelolah keuangan serta pembangunan yang baik dan efektif,” pungkasnya.
Terinformasi, sejak dilantik sebagai Ketua DPRD Kotamobagu pada Oktober 2019 lalu, Mekal sudah dua kali ditunjuk oleh BPK RI Perwakilan Sulut untuk menyampaikan sambutan di kegiatan yang mereka laksanakan. Pertama pada penyerahan LHP Atas Pemeriksaan Kinerja dan Pemeriksaan dengan Tujuan Tertentu Semester II Tahun 2019 yang dia hadiri bersama Walikora Tatong Bara. (adv)
