Milan – Massimo Moratti tahu jika Wesley Sneijder sedang menghadapi situasi pelik di Inter Milan terkait masa depannya. Namun, bukan berarti Sneijder harus duduk diam saja karena tenaganya pun dibutuhkan oleh tim.
Inter dan Sneijder sedang terlibat dalam pembicaraan kontrak baru yang membuat masa depanna di Giuseppe Meazza jadi terombang-ambing. Di satu sisi Inter masih membutuhkan tenaganya namun mereka juga tidak kuat untuk menggaji Sneijder 6 juta euro per tahun.
Maka itulah Sneijder saat dinilai sedang “dibekukan” dan membuat ia menganggap seperti sedang diperas oleh Inter karena tak mau menurunkan gajinya menjadi sekitar 4,5-5 juta euro.
Terkait persoalan ini, Moratti menegaskan jika pihaknya sedang terus mengupayakan untuk tetap menjaga Sneijder agar tidak hengkang. Jika memang belum tercapai kata sepakat jua hingga bulan Januari, Inter kemungkinan besar akan menjual.
Namun, sebelum transfer itu memang benar-benar terjadi, Moratti juga tak ingin Sneijder terus dibangkucadangkan sementara ia terus membayar gaji playmaker asal Belanda. Maka dari itu ia meminta kepada pelatih Inter, Andrea Stramaccioni, untuk memainkannya agar bisa mengangkat performa tim.
“Seperti biasanya keputusan untuk memainkannya atau tidak adalah otoritas pelatih. Aku akan jadi orang pertama yang akan meminta pelatih untuk memainkannya,” ujar Moratti kepada Gazzetta dello Sport seperti dilansir Football Italia.
“Aku tidak ingin membayar seseorang hanya untuk duduk di bangku penonton, di mana ia sebenarnya bisa membantu kami untuk menang,” lanjutnya.
“Ini harus diselesaikan secepat mungkin di mana ini mulai membuat tensi memanas di dalam tim. Tapi pelatih merasa dia belum siap secara psikis dan fisik untuk bermain. Stramaccioni selalu jujur kepada Sneijder.”
Terakhir Moratti pun mengungkapkan sampai saat ini belum ada tawaran yang datang untuk Sneijder, meskipun gosipnya ada Paris St Germain, Anzhi dan Manchester United yang tertarik.
“Belum ada tawaran yang datang. Apakah dia akan tetap berada di sini atau hengkang, kami benar-benar belum tahu. Kami belum mencari pemain Alternatif lainnya karena untuk saat ini dia adalah bagian dari kami dan belum memutuskan apapun soal masa depannya.”
