KILASTOTABUAN.COM, JAKARTA – Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) berencana akan membuka jam operasional program vaksinasi virus corona (COVID-19) pada siang hingga malam hari saat bulan Ramadan mendatang.
Rencana itu menyusul hasil rapat pleno Komisi Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) yang menyebutkan bahwa aktivitas penyuntikan vaksin COVID-19 tidak membatalkan ibadah puasa.
“Dengan fatwa MUI maka kita bisa memberikan vaksinasi pada orang yang berpuasa, sehingga bisa kita lakukan di siang hari. Tetapi ada alternatif kalau tidak bisa dilakukan siang hari, kita dapat memberikan vaksinasi pada malam hari di bulan Ramadhan,” kata Juru Bicara Vaksinasi dari Kemenkes Siti Nadia Tarmizi dalam acara daring, Rabu (17/3).
Nadia sekaligus menjelaskan alasan MUI memberikan lampu hijau pemberian vaksin saat dalam waktu berpuasa, karena vaksinasi Covid-19 dilakukan dengan cara injeksi intramuscular.

Intramuscular, lanjut Nadia, merupakan teknik vaksinasi yang dilakukan dengan cara menyuntikkan obat atau vaksin melalui otot. Tindakan ini menurut MUI boleh dilakukan pada siang hari saat Ramadan dengan catatan tidak menimbulkan bahaya.
“Vaksinasi COVID-19 yang dilakukan injeksi intramuskular tidak membatalkan puasa,” ujar Nadia yang juga mengulang kembali fatwa MUI.
Lebih lanjut, Nadia mengaku saat ini Kemenkes tengah mempersiapkan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) untuk program vaksinasi di malam hari. Nadia mengatakan pihaknya ingin memastikan agenda vaksinasi dapat berjalan lancar dan tidak menimbulkan kerumunan baik di siang atau malam hari.
“Kita akan diskusikan dan mematangkan peraturannya lebih lanjut,” pungkasnya.
MUI pada Selasa (16/3) kemarin mengumumkan sekaligus telah mengeluarkan fatwa perihal aktivitas vaksinasi tak membatalkan puasa. Keputusan tersebut termaktub dalam Fatwa MUI Nomor 13 Tahun 2021 tentang Hukum Vaksinasi COVID-19 saat Berpuasa.

Wakil Presiden RI Ma’ruf Amin juga ikut meyakinkan ke seluruh warga bahwa menerima suntik vaksin virus corona pada bulan Ramadan tak lantas membatalkan puasa. Oleh sebab itu, mantan Ketua Umum MUI itu kembali mengajak warga Indonesia untuk mengikuti vaksinasi virus corona. Menurutnya, vaksinasi sebagai ikhtiar untuk menjaga diri dan orang lain dari wabah penyakit.
Sejak 13 Januari 2021, pemerintah Indonesia menggencarkan vaksinasi COVID-19 bertahap untuk menanggulangi pandemi virus corona. Target vaksinasi COVID-19 itu adalah 70 persen penduduk Indonesia untuk mencapai kekebalan kelompok (herd immunity) atas virus corona. Meskipun demikian, ada tantangan baru yakni mulai ditemukannya sejumlah kasus pasien yang terinfeksi mutasi virus corona. (*)
