Kepala Bagian Perekonomian dan Pembangunan (Ekbang) Sumitro Potabuga mengatakan telah melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak Pertamina terkait kebutuhan elpiji atau LPG yang bakal meningkat di Bulan Ramadan.
“Ini semua agar tidak terjadi kelangkaan elpiji pada Bulan Ramadan, dan masyarakat bisa menjalankan ibadah dengan baik,” ujarnya, Kamis (25/3).

Dari hasil pertemuan, dikatakan tidak ada kelangkaan elpiji seperti yang diisukan. Jumlah permintaan memang meningkat maka dampaknya ada pada ketersedian elpiji di pangkalan.
“Pihak Pertamina menyampaikan siap untuk melayani kebutuhan masyarakat serta memastikan tidak ada kelangkaan di Bulan Ramadhan,” katanya.
Selain itu, masyarakat juga diimbau untuk membeli elpiji di pangkalan resmi ataupun SPBU di sekitarnya untuk mendapatkan harga sesuai Harga Eceran Tertinggi yang ditetapkan pemerintah.
“Supaya masyarakat mendapatkan harga sebagaimana mestinya,” katanya.
Diketahui, setiap harinya elpiji yang didistribusikan ke wilayah Kota Kotamobagu sebanyak 8.720 tabung, Agen Gemilang sebanyak 4.800 tabung dan Agen Mangimbali 3.920 tabung. (Anggi)
