KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBGU — Manfaat daun bidara bisa menjadi alternatif pengobatan untuk berbagai masalah kesehatan. Kendati belum terlalu populer, namun saat ini sejumlah orang memanfaatkan daun dari pohon yang bernama latin Ziziphus mauritiana bidara ini sebagai salah satu peluang usaha.
Salah satunya Muhammad Subhan warga Perum Permai Kelurahan Pobundayan, Kecamatan Kotamobagu Selatan yang saat ini memanfaatkan daun bidara menjadi produk minuman kesehatan yang dilabeli Teh Daun Bidara Bima Pobundayan Permai.
Ditemui dirumahnya, Pria asal Bima (Nusa Tenggara Barat) yang saat ini tercatat sebagai Wakil Kepala Sekolah salah satu SMP di Kotamobagu ini, menuturkan awal mula ia bersama sang istri mulai menggeluti usaha penjualan minuman kesehatan ini.
“Usaha ini tercetus saat saya kembali menimba ilmu S2 di pulau jawa. Nah, disana ada beberapa teman yang sudah lebih dulu menjalankan usaha tersebut, sehingga mereka memberikan saran untuk coba membuka usaha ini tatkala kembali ke Kotamobagu,” kata Ustadz Subhan sapaan akrabnya.
Menurutnya, usaha produk teh daun bidara ini baru dilakoninya 3 bulan silam. “Awalnya kita menjual dalam bentuk bubuk, namun karena ada saran dari teman sehingga saya dan istri mencoba memproduksi daun bidara ini dalam bentuk teh siap saji agar lebih mudah dan praktis,” katanya.
Untuk saat ini, produk teh daun bidara hasil olahannya sudah merambah ke pasar di daerah tetangga seperti Kota Manado dan Gorontalo meski baru dalam skala kecil.
“Sudah mulai banyak yang tahu, bahkan ada beberapa konsumen dari luar daerah yang mencoba produk ini dan alhamdulillah testimoninya konsumen sangat baik,”.
Harga yang ditawarkan pun cukup murah, jika dibandingkan dengan manfaat yang diperoleh dari mengkonsumsi minuman kesehatan ini. Untuk 1 botol dengan ukuran 500 ml, hanya dibanderol dengan harga Rp 20.000.
“Produksi masih kami batasi, mengingat masa kadaluarsanya. Dalam sehari saya bersama istri memproduksi sekitar 50 botol. Untuk pembelian, bisa langsung ke alamat kami di Perum Permai Pobundayan Blok/F Nomor 720, atau melalui kontak telepon di nomor 085399575723, WA 082346432023,” tandasnya.
