KILASTOTABUAN.COM, BOLTIM – Bencana erupsi Gunung Semeru memicu keprihatinan banyak pihak, tak terkecuali sejumlah pemuda yang tergabung dalam Komunitas Pencinta Alam (KPA) Maleo, Bolaang Mongondow Timur (Boltim), yang menggelar aksi penggalangan dana untuk korban erupsi Gunung semeru.
Penggalangan dana dilakukan sebagai bentuk kepedulian sejumlah pemuda, terhadap korban erupsi Gunung semeru dengan turun kejalan untuk meminta uluran tangan dari para dermawan yang melintas di jalan Trans Sulawesi, Desa Moyongkota Baru Kecamatan Modayag Barat, Kabupaten Boltim.
Salah satu anggota dari KPA Maleo, Sumitro Mamangkai mengatakan, pemuda yang menggalang dana tak hanya terdiri dari anggota Maleo saja, tetapi merupakan gabungan dari beberapa komunitas pemuda, dengan mengangkat tema ‘Luka Mereka Luka Kita Juga’.
“Selain anggota Maleo, ada juga dari komunitas Biosfer, pemuda Karang Taruna Desa Moyongkota Bersatu dan dari Siswa-siswi SMK Fajar,” ujar Sumitro, Jumat (17/12/2021.
Dijelaskannya, empat hari terakhir mereka sudah melakukan penggalangan dana. Kemudian dana yang terkumpul di salurakan langsung kepada warga yang terdampak erupsi gunung semeru. Dengan harapan bisa meringankan beban saudara kita yang terkena bencana di Kabupaten Lumajang.
“Kebetulan salah satu anggota Maleo Boltim, Ahram Dondo, sedang berada di kaki gunung Semeru, menjadi relawan membantu mengefakuasi korban yang terkena erupsi. Jadi dana yang kami kumpulkan, nantinya langsung di kirim ke Arham Dondo,” jelas Sumitro.
Diketahui Hujan deras selama empat jam mengguyur lereng Gunung semeru, membuat 5 dusun di Desa Sumber Wuluh, Kabupaten Lumajang, terdampak banjir lahar dingin, pada Kamis (16/12) kemarin. karenanya korban sangat membutuhkan bantuan. (Red)
