KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBAGU – Mengubah hobi menjadi peluang bisnis merupakan hal yang dibutuhkan masa kini. Sebab, masa kini keterbukaan informasi serta akses dapat membantu seseorang lebih mudah untuk melihat peluang usaha di berbagai jenis.
Hal di atas telah dilakukan Randika Nento (27), warga Kelurahan Gogagoman, Kecamatan Kotamobagu Barat, Kota Kotamobagu. Memiliki sebuah usaha adalah keinginannya sejak lama, terlebih itu adalah hobinya sendiri yang bisa menghasilkan uang untuk membantu meningkatkan pendapatan per bulannya.
Ia awalnya tidak percaya diri jika penampilan rambutnya terlihat kering saat mau ke acara pesta pernikahan, pergi kuliah, menongkrong bersama teman dan lain sebagainnya, karena baginya jika rambut tidak dirawat maka penampilannya tidak terlihat maksimal. Maka, dari hobi merawat rambut dengan menggunakan berbagai produk, serta keinginan untuk memiliki usaha yang bisa membantu meningkatkan pendapatan, akhirnya mendorong dirinya untuk mencari informasi serta peluang usaha.

“Awalnya karena saya hobi menggunakan produk pomade saat kuliah dulu. Karena, saya tidak percaya diri dengan rambut yang kering saat keluar rumah, entah mau ke acara kondangan atau pun keluar bersama teman. Setelah selesai kuliah, saya mulai mencari tahu produk pomade yang ada di Kotamobagu, kemudian saya melihat, ternyata ada peluang untuk pemasaran produk pomade ini,” kata Randika, saat dikonfirmasi Kilastotabuan.com, Selasa (22/6/2021).
Dengan begitu, sejak 2018 ia mulai mencoba untuk berjualan produk pomade di Kotamobagu, dengan hasil analisisnya bahwa anak muda di Kotamobagu kebanyakan ingin tampil keren, dengan begitu produk ini akan menyasar anak-anak muda yang suka dengan penampilan maksimal saat di acara-acara.
“Awalnya, saya mencoba jualan pomade dengan jumlah yang sedikit, dengan sistem reseller yang dititipkan pada Barbershop milik teman, dan alhamdulillah habis terjual dengan untung yang cukup banyak dan modal sedikit. Dari keuntungan tersebut saya putar lagi untuk bisa stok produk pomade sebanyak mungkin. Pembelinya pun banyak dari anak sekolahan dan remaja,” katanya.
Tambahnya, berbagai jenis aroma produk pomade serta variannya bisa dimiliki lewat pemesanan langsung via WhatsApp dengan menghubungi nomor 085298975900, atau lewat media sosial Facebook dengan mengikuti akun Pomade Kotamobagu, atau akun Instagram @PomadeKotamobagu.
“Untuk produk Pomade yang saya jual memiliki bermacam jenis aroma, ada aroma buah-buahan, permen karet, kopi dan lain sebagainya. Variannya pun beda-beda, ada yang jenis berminyak khusus untuk dipakai pada rambut kering, dan ada pula varian powder yang dapat membuat rambut terlihat klimis serta mudah untuk ditata. Harganya pun sesuai dengan ukuran, untuk ukuran kecil 55 gram saya jual Rp 25.000, kalau untuk ukuran besar jenis Clay saya banderol harga Rp 85.000. Dan untuk jenis powder saya jual dengan harga Rp 85.000 sampai Rp 90.000,” katanya. (Gie)
