KILASTOTABUAN.COM, JAKARTA — Petisi mendesak pembatalan rencana pemindahan ibu kota negara (IKN) dari Jakarta ke Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) yang diinisiasi oleh mantan komisioner Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), Busyro Muqoddas, serta ekonom senior, Faisal Basri, sudah diteken lebih dari 11 ribu orang hingga Senin Februari 2022.
Tercatat, petisi yang diunggah di change.org dengan judul ‘Pak Presiden, 2022-2024 Bukan Waktunya Memindahkan Ibukota Negara’ tersebut sudah diteken oleh 11.482 orang pada pukul 11.05 WIB.
Para inisiator mengajak seluruh warga Indonesia memberikan dukungan terhadap petisi yang telah dibuat agar Jokowi menghentikan rencana pemindahan dan pembangunan IKN baru di Kalimantan Timur.
Mereka menilai pemindahan IKN di tengah pandemi Covid-19 adalah keputusan yang salah.
“Apalagi kondisi rakyat dalam keadaan sulit secara ekonomi sehingga tak ada urgensi bagi pemerintah memindahkan ibu kota negara,” tulis petisi tersebut.
Mereka menilai, pemerintah harus fokus menangani varian baru Omicron yang membutuhkan dana besar dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) saat ini.
Selain itu, menurut mereka, pemerintah punya utang luar negeri yang cukup besar, defisit APBN melebar di atas 3 persen, dan penerimaan negara turun.
“Adalah sangat bijak bila presiden tidak memaksakan keuangan negara untuk membiayai proyek tersebut,” ucap para inisiator.
Salah satu cendekiawan muslim, Azyumardi sebagai salah satu pihak yang namanya tercatat sebagai salah satu penggalang petisi itu mengatakan petisi dibuat sebagai bentuk keprihatinan.
“Ya, itu pada dasarnya petisi keprihatinan yang dengan berbagai alasan logis mengimbau Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) untuk tidak membangun IKN baru,” ujar Azyumardi kepada CNNIndonesia.com, Sabtu (5/2).
Sebelumnya, Kepala Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN), Budi Gunawan, menyebut bahwa rencana pemerintah memindahkan IKN merupakan upaya untuk menunjukkan Indonesia bukan hanya Pulau Jawa.
Budi mengatakan bahwa dengan keputusan pemindahan ibu kota ini, Jokowi ingin mengurangi kesenjangan antara Pulau Jawa dan pulau lain.
“Pemerintah ingin mengubah stigma bahwa Indonesia hanya pulau Jawa, bahwa Indonesia memiliki luas yang melimpah dengan ekosistem yang luar biasa. Bapak presiden ingin tidak ada kesenjangan antara pulau Jawa dan lainnya,” kata dia dalam keterangannya, Minggu (6/2).
Dia pun mengakui keseriusan pemerintah yang ingin memindahkan ibu kota lewat pengesahan UU Ibu Kota Negara (IKN). Budi mengamini IKN akan menjadi sejarah baru negara. (*)
