KILASTOTABUAN.COM, KOTAMOBAGU – Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda), Sande Dodo menyerahkan secara simbolis ribuan bibit pertanian/perkebunan kepada perwakilan Kelompok Tani (Poktan) yang dilaksanakan di Aula Kantor Dinas Pertanian dan Perikanan Kotamobagu, Senin (20/9/2021).
Adapun bibit pertanian/perkebunan yang diserahkan berupa bibit burian, alpukat, dan kakao. Ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi pertanian serta kesejahteraan masyarakat khususnya para petani.
“Harapan pemkot agar bibit yang sudah diserahkan ini dipelihara dangan baik sampai bisa dipanen. Tujuannya untuk kesejahteraan para petani,” kata Sande.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas (Kadis) Pertanian dan Perikanan Kotamobagu, Fenty Dilasandi Mifta, mengatakan penyerahan bibit sebanyak 250 pohon bibit durian, 500 bibit alpukat, dan 1.700 bibit kakao.
“Ribuan bibit pertanian/perkebunan tiga jenis diserahkan kepada 5 kelompok tani yang tersebar di seluruh kecamatan se-Kota Kotamobagu,” kata Fenty.

Penyerahan bibit ini, kata dia, untuk meningkatkan produksi pertanian di Kotamobagu, serta pendapatan para petani.
“Semoga bibit yang diserahkan ini dapat dirawat dengan baik. Nanti ketika masa panen dan hasil produksinya dijual otomatis pendapatan petani menjadi baik. Jika pendapatan baik, maka ikut mempengaruhi kesejahteraan petani di Kota Kotamobagu,” katanya.
Apalagi menurutnya, peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat lebih khusus petani di Kota Kotamobagu, menjadi harapan dari Wali Kota Kotamobagu, Tatong Bara, dan Wakil Walikota, Nayodo Koerniawan.
“Intinya lewat penyerahan bibit ini, bagaimana peningkatan pendapatan petani di kemudian hari akan meningkat. Sehingga kesejahteraan masyarakat khusus petani ikut meningkat. Dan itu juga adalah harapan dari wali kota dan wakil,” katanya. (Anggi)
